Recording Specials and Packages

Hourly Rate for Studio Time: $40.00/hr (4 hour minimum on Saturdays)

:: Studio Specials ::

Solo Demo Special: $149.00
This package includes 4 hours of studio time and 10 CDs. Studio time can consist of recording, mixing and mastering. CDs include slim jewel case and black print only. This special can be used only once per album project.

8 Hour Block Time: $280.00
Buying studio time in blocks can be cost effective for bands and large scale projects. Our 8 hour block is a great way to make the most of your studio time.

20 Hour Block Time: $639.00
Lock in low hourly rate for the duration of your project. You can break up your 20 hours into multiple sessions for either recording or mixing: however, we require that your time be used in 4 hours or more at a time if possible. Please note that this special must be paid for in advance in order to receive this discount. You may purchase additional time at $35.00 per hour.

Demo Package - 12 hours and 100 CDs starting at $749.00
This package is for those looking to produce a short demo of 3-5 songs. Whether you are looking to promote your CD, sell or get bookings for your band, this package is a great way to get started. You can get a professional, product to sale at a fairly low cost.

Project Package – 30 hours and 100 CDs starting at $1,395.00
This package is great for artist who are looking to go to the next level and produce a professional CD of 10 songs. This package can put together a high value product that can profit from sales and help you get noticed. A great value. The package starts a less than $350.00 per person for a 4 member band.

Soundtracks

Hilltop Recording now offers custom made soundtracks. These tracks can be created either in-house or using one of our outside sources.

In-House
In-house tracks are done with local musicians starting at $20.00 per instrument per song, so a 5 instrument song would cost $100.00 plus studio time of 40.00 per hour. This offer is better used in acoustic music or anything not using drums.

Outside Sources
Our outside sources specialize in southern gospel, country gospel, and other. These tracks are very professional. Turn around time for 10 song project is about 3 to 4 weeks with a cost of about $110.00 per song for 5 instrument tracks. Just send us a rough copy of your song with correct timing, key chord progressing and tell us what instruments you would like. Payment for these tracks is 75% upfront and balance upon hearing tracks.

CD Duplication - Packages

Standard Package includes your choice of 2 colors printed on the CD, front cover with full color, black and white inside, color tray card, jewel case with black tray, shrinkwrap

Slimline Package includes color print on CD, front cover with full color, black and white inside, jewel case with black tray, shrinkwrap
*Note: The slimline jewel case does not have a tray card

Window Package includes color print on CD and a white papersleeve.

CD Duplication - Bulk Reproduction

• With Print - $1.65 each
• No Print - $0.95 each

*We do not use sticker labels. Graphics and text are printed directly on the CD.
