"I have been wanting to record a project of old hymns for a long time and thanks to Dave, I have completed my goal. All I brought was myself and an old marked up hymnal and Hilltop provided a very talented group of musicians who picked up every song like they had played them many times before. Every step of the process was a breeze thanks to a very patient engineer/producer, Dave Winters. If you want to record at a gospel project of any kind, I would say give Hilltop a try. "I found Hilltop Recording through Google Search. I was impressed from the start. The web site was loaded with all the information I needed to know this was where I wanted to record. The recording process can be draining on your mind and body as well as your pocketbook. But I felt right at home at Hilltop Recording and David Winters, owner/engineer, let me know I was the boss but he was around for assistance, when needed. I think it's very affordable and you get what you pay for. I had 3 or 4 tracks I thought I might have to do over but after it was mixed, it sounded just fine. The mastering is also excellent."
